I cannot do all the good that the world needs . But the world needs all the good that I can do . So goes the saying .

There are quite a few honest hard working simple men , hailing from small villages , born in ordinary farmer’s families in india , who had to go through all the difficulties and hurdles the world had to throw at them to get a decent education. They had to utilise every opportunity that came their way, some staying in community aided hostels meant for students like them , and if needed sustain themselves on ‘weeks’ .

When such people come up in life and get settled well here in India or abroad , it is quite natural that a thought should consume their minds. Why not help students from rural communities , like elders did for them in their time ?

Sri Kakatiya Students Welfare Society came into existence, with this one thought of helping the poor and needy students in and around Andhra Pradesh , with many helping hands donating liberally to pool up a sizeable corpus fund in 2003 .

Kakatiya Student Welfare Society of USA has been instrumental in igniting this spark and supporting the growth of the society under the guidance of Sri Jasti Venkateswarlu . Both the organisations from US and India have been working together since inception with considerable funds being pumped in from abroad with the help of liberal donors .

May be the intentions were noble , maybe the almighty agreed and blessed , maybe there are many like them who wanted to help but couldn’t find a medium to help, this seed dug roots and grew into a huge tree , the corpus fund increasing rapidly , bearing fruits for the needy students from Rural Andhra Pradesh .

Every year in the festival month of Sankranthi, the poor and needy students harvest these fruits to satiate their needs and grow up in life .

Donors are continuing to help this society to grow fast and reach many more year after year . A million dollars corpus fund is not an unreachable target in the very new feature with blessings from munificent donors 🙏🙏
